Edition Domberger Collection

The printing company where an artist has his work printed can determine the result. Some printing companies have become world famous over the years. One of the most important art printing companies in the world  is Edition Domberger in Stuttgart. This printing house owes its fame to its important contribution to the technical development of printing, but also to all the famous work that was produced here.

Without founders Luitpold and Karin Domberger, the history of twentieth-century printmaking would probably have looked very different. The printing company was founded by this couple in the 1950s and has since been taken over by son Michael. The studio became internationally known for their exceptional quality of screen printing. Luitpold Domberger was one of the first to master and further develop this technique.

It is not for nothing that famous modern and contemporary artists such as Keith Haring, Agnes Martin and Robert Indiana had their art printed here. Nothing was impossible for Edition Domberger: no image was too complex, no format too large and no idea too ambitious.

Domberger calendars
