Terms&application

The terms and conditions apply to all agreements and orders of Arthuis, except where Arthuis has agreed in writing to other terms. Custom agreements do not apply to future transactions. By placing an order and accepting the offer, you automatically agree to these terms and conditions.

Prices&cost

All prices listed on Arthuis's website include 21% tax. If you order more than one product, shipping costs will remain the same. As long as the agreement has not yet been established, Arthuis is free to change prices and further conditions.

Delivery

Arthuis strives to deliver all orders that are in stock within 7 days. If a product has a longer delivery time or is (temporarily) not available, you will be informed shortly after placing the order. In case of shipping, Arthuis is not responsible for delays caused by Post NL, DHL or UPS. Arthuis is also not liable for any damage that could result as a result of the failure to deliver on time. Arthuis takes great care in the shipping and reception of the ordered products. However, an order may not be shipped or incomplete. You must report this within 7 days of receiving the product. The delivery will eventually be completed or re-shipped by Arthuis.

Payment methods

The agreement to buy and sell is reached at the time you enter into the general terms of sale of Arthuis.  By paying with Visa or MasterCard Arthuis has the right to check whether the card is valid, whether there is sufficient payment limit to pay the product and whether the address details are correct. Payment through Visa, MasterCard and IDEAL is handled by Shopify payments, an online payment provider.

Complaints&Returns

We do our utmost to deliver a perfect product. Arthuis Amsterdam advises to check the delivered products immediately after receipt (We will always do this when we deliver the product in person). If the ordered products do not meet your expectations, we can immediately take it back in return. Arthuis will try to solve the problem or the complaint together with you. You have the right to return the products that have been delivered by Arthuis within 30 days. Within the 30-day window, you are required to handle the product and packaging carefully. You may only unpack and use the product to the extent necessary to test whether the product meets your needs and you want to keep it. You may return the products within these 30 days in the original packaging in the original packaging, with a copy of the invoice. You are responsible for shipping costs. In the event that the products are not used on time and undamaged and are not returned correctly. Arthuis will refund the price paid within 30 days.

Liability

Arthuis is not liable for any damage caused by third parties. Arthuis accepts no liability for any damage caused by the use of Arthuis works. Arthuis's liability is always limited to the purchase amount of the product in question.

Force majeure

In case of force majeure, all of Arthuis's obligations will be cancelled. In the event that the period of force majeure lasts longer than two months, it is up to you and Arthuis to cancel the agreement, without any compensation. We speak of force majeure in the event of strikes, unrest, import/export bans or natural disasters.

Privacy

Arthuis respects the privacy of all users of the website and ensures that all personal information is treated confidentially. Your personal information will only be used to handle your order. In addition to handling your order, we use your data - only after your permission - for marketing and the relationship with you as a customer. The data will never be passed on to third parties unless they are involved in the execution of your order.

Laws and regulations

This agreement and conditions are covered by Dutch law.
