Louis ten Brink Netherlands, 1945 Loes ten Brink has undergone a major career change. She is a doctor and has worked in a hospital. However, the urge to draw always remained, so that after her job as a doctor she followed a course at the Rietveld Academy.
Water, air and space are recurring elements in Loes' paintings. The Polder landscapes and accompanying vistas are a great inspiration for her work. She prefers to paint 'plein-air' realistically. She uses an impressionistic touch, which creates a spontaneity in her work. Loes ten Brink prefers to work with acrylic paint.
